Scooters

We currently run a fleet of about 40 scooters which costs us around £5500 per year. The scooters are free for any Ryedale residents that need them. We maintain the scooters, provide delivery and collection, and look after any repairs.

We are always happy to add to our fleet so if you have a scooter in good condition that you no longer need just give us a call.

Ryedale Lions Club has come to the rescue of three residents of the Thornton Dale almshouses. Unable to make the steep mile-long trip to the village from their temporary accommodation on the edge of the village, the Lions club has provided each of them with a mobility scooter while their almshouse homes are refurbished.
